Help for Arkhe — a native IRCv3 client for iPhone & iPad
Tap + in the sidebar and enter your server’s host and port. Enable TLS (recommended). If you use a bouncer, point Arkhe at the bouncer — it will discover the networks available on it.
Choose SASL PLAIN and enter your username and password, or use SASL EXTERNAL for certificate‑based login (CertFP).
Import a client certificate (.p12), choose SASL EXTERNAL,
then copy the SHA‑256 fingerprint Arkhe shows and register it with your
network (for example /msg NickServ CERT ADD).
No. You can connect directly to any IRC server. A bouncer stays connected on your behalf and syncs your history, so you never miss messages and can pick up where you left off across devices — Arkhe supports this via IRCv3 chat history.
In the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system and never in plain text. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Configure a custom uploader in Settings → Upload, then use the attach button in the message bar. Files are sent directly to the endpoint you configure.
Swipe left on the channel in the sidebar and tap Close.
Email support@priet.us and we’ll get back to you.
